Hesperia gas station, convenience store is sold

A freestanding ARCO gas station that includes a 2,500-square-foot ampm Store in Hesperia has been sold.

The business, at 16815 Main St. sold for $4.6 million, according to a statement released by Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

Progressive Real Estate represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction, both of whom were identified only as private investors from Nevada and Orange County, respectively, who have operated Chevron and ARCO stations in California.

The station was built in the late 1980’s and has eight gasoline dispensers. The entire project sits on one acre, allowing room for expansion.

Both the businesses and the land were included in the transaction.

More than 30,500 vehicles pass by the site, which is across from the Midtown Shopping Center, on a typical day.  Prominent retailers nearby include Stater Bros., U.S. Bank, Jiffy Lube, Verizon Wireless and Starbucks, according to the statement.
