Company at Chino Airport renews lease

One of the largest employers at Chino Airport has renewed its lease on hangar and office space there.

Threshold Aviation Group, which provides refueling, repair, maintenance and pilot service, will remain at the airport for another 10 years, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

The lease can be extended for another 10 years when it expires. Threshold Aviation chose to stay at Chino Airport even though it had offers to move to Nevada, according to the report.

Threshold Aviation employs 65 people. One of its jobs is to refuel Boeing 737 Freighters that are used to carry automobile parts, the report stated.
