Corona shopping center sold

McKinley Crossroads, a retail center in Corona anchored by a 24-Hour Fitness and a Simply Fresh Market, has been sold.

The 202,134-square-foot facility at 275 Teller St. next to the 91 Freeway has been sold to ShopOne Centers REIT Inc., according to a statement.

The name of the seller, as well as the price of the property, were not released. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, McKinley Crossroads sits on a 13.8-acre site.

ShopOne Centers REIT is a private real estate investment trust based in New York that buys and operates grocery-anchored shopping centers in densely populated areas.

“[McKinley Crossroads] is an income-producing retail center that offers a tremendous growth opportunity, said Michael Carroll, ShopOne’s chef executive officer, in a statement. “We look forward to redeveloping and repositioning the center with best-in-class retailers looking to capitalize on the property’s unparalleled visibility to Riverside Freeway.”
