Future retail center lands coffee house

The soon-to-open Redlands Packing House District has signed another tenant.

Augies Coffee Roasters will occupy a 1,079-square-foot space at the northwest corner of Eureka Street and Stuart Avenue, according to a statement released Wednesday.

It will be Augies’ second Redlands location and its fifth in Southern California, Glendale-based Evergreen Devco Inc., developer of Redlands Packing House, announced.

The store is expected to open in July.

Evergreen Devco is the developer of Redlands Packing House, a retail center under construction at Eureka Street and Interstate 10.

“We are excited to bring an iconic local operator to the project,” said Bryan Lamond, Evergreen Devco’s leasing director, in the statement. “Augies has a very strong connection to the Redlands community, and we are pleased to be able to bring their unique energy and local flavor to the Packing House.”

Redlands Packing House has signed one anchor tenant, Sprouts Farmer Market, and has space for two more. It is 85 percent pre-leased.

Other retailers that plan to locate there include Jersey Mike’s, PetSmart, Club Pilates, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Luna Grill, according to the statement.
