Gated community in Corona adds a neighborhood

A fourth neighborhood at a gated community in Corona opened Saturday.

Parson is a collection of 80 single-family court homes that makes up Bedford, which will include 1,600 homes when it’s completed, according to a statement.

Master developer The New Home Co., along with Tri Pointe Homes and Woodson Homes, opened Bedford’s first three neighborhoods last fall. It’s one of the largest residential communities to be developed in Corona in more than a decade.

Bedford is at the southwest of the Cajalco Road and I-15 interchange, an area that will soon have direct access to a new toll lane. The project is being built on the site of a former lemon grove near the Santa Ana foothills.

Besides new residences and recreational amenities, the Bedford includes more than 50 acres of open space, parks and a vast network of trails, according to the statement.
