Houses open at Colonies

Magnolia Heights, a 97-home tract in the Colonies in Upland, has opened.

The project consists of single-family homes priced in the high $400,000 range and is one of the last housing developments planned for the Colonies, a master-planned community, according to a report published in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

The homes, which were developed by Frontier Communities in Rancho Cucamonga, range from approximately 1,800 to 2,300 square feet. They’re one of two housing communities Frontiers has opened recently in the Inland region: Almeria, which has 27 homes, and Brookside, with 19 homes, both in Fontana.

Magnolia Heights is at Colonies Parkway and Campus Avenue, which is near the 210 Freeway and the Colonies Crossroads shopping center.

“We’re delighted to celebrate the grand opening of Magnolia Heights, where families will find a combination of value and elegance set against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Valley Mountains,” said Jim Previti, president and chief executive officer of Frontier Communities, in a statement.
