IE is launch pad for home office design

KB Home is introducing its home office design this week at two Inland Empire developments.

The Carmel Ridge at Spring Mountain Ranch in Riverside and Talavera community in Menifee will include the home office, which is designed to make working from home easier and more productive, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles-based company.

The home office concept, a response to COVID-19, includes a workstation, display shelves and upgraded electrical accessories. The latter includes receptacles, a high-speed USB charging outlet and a data-teleport.

“Many people are working from home, which has made home offices more desired and essential than ever before,”  said Jeffrey Metzger, chairman, president and chief executive officer of KB Home, in the statement.

KB Homes plans to introduce the home office nationwide during the next few months, according to the statement.
