New GM for CBB Arena

Citizens Business Bank Arena has a new general manager.

Adam Millar began overseeing day-to-day operations at the Ontario facility earlier this month, according to a statement.

Millar has worked at the Los Memorial Coliseum, Sports Arena [since torn down] the Forum in Inglewood, the Greek Theatre and Staples Center. Most recently he was general manager of City National Grove in Anaheim, a position he held since 2005.

“We are pleased to welcome Adam to Ontario and look forward to his expertise in managing and booking an entertainment venue.” said Michael Krouse, regional vice president of SMG Worldwide, in the statement. “Adam will lead the team and continue to build upon the improved content and guest experience upgrades at Citizens Business Bank Arena.”

Pennsylvania-based SMG manages the 11,000-seat arena, which is owned by the city of Ontario. The facility is home to several professional sports teams, including the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League and the Ontario Fury of the Major Arena Soccer League.
