Jason Ballow has been named vice president of development for Trammell Crow Residential’s Southern California Division.

Ballow, a development associate with the company since 2012, will oversee entitlement, development and construction of multifamily properties in Riverside, Orange and San Diego counties, according to a statement.

Currently, Trammell Crow has eight projects either under construction or planned in those municipalities that, when completed, will total 2,300 units.

Before joining Trammell Crow, Ballow was chief financial officer of Anderson Drilling, a deep foundation and earth retention contractor based in Commerce City, Colo.

He has held several other positions, including vice president of finance for CityMark Development of San Diego and director of finance for D.R. Horton, a major homebuilding company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, according to the statement.
