On The Move

Former National Football League star Mark Seay on Tuesday presented the league’s Golden Football to San Bernardino High School.

The ball, which is part of the league’s Super Bowl High School Honor Roll program, was presented during an assembly in the school’s auditorium, according to a statement released by Stater Bros. Markets.

Seay, a former wide receiver with the San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles, is a graduate of San Bernardino High School. He played in Super Bowl XXIX for the Chargers in 1995, and currently works in Stater Bros.’ public relations department.

The Super Bowl High School Honor Roll recognizes high schools and communities that have produced a player or head coach who appeared in Super Bowl, according to the statement.
