Popular chicken restaurant to settle in San Bernardino

A restaurant chain that specializes in Nashville-style chicken has leased space in San Bernardino.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, which started as a parking lot “pop up” in Los Angeles four years ago, will locate in The Hub shopping center, 1060 E. Harriman Place, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

The restaurant, one of the company’s first in the Inland Empire, is expected to open this summer.  Other restaurants at The Hub include Jimmy John’s Subs, Maui Hawaiian BBQ, Verizon, El Pollo Loco, and Shogun Restaurant.

The Hub is in the Tri-City Corporate Centre, San Bernardino’s main commercial district. It has more than five million square feet of retail, office and hospitality space. Costco, Sam’s Club, and In-N-Out Burger are each located there.

Lease details were not disclosed. Progressive Real Estate represented the landlord in the negotiations, according to the statement.
