RC shopping center changes hands

A neighborhood shopping center in Rancho Cucamonga has been sold.

RC Plaza, a nine-building complex at East Foothill Boulevard and Archibald Avenue, sold for $9.7 million, according to a statement.

Hanley Investment Group in Corona Del Mar and Voit Real Estate in Anaheim represented the seller, a private investment group in Orange County.

The buyer, a private investor in Los Angeles whose name was not released, was represented by Ophir Management Services Inc.

Built in 1984, RC Plaza sits on three acres and has 37,239 square feet of retail. Its tenants include a drive-thru Starbucks and a Pizza Hut.

A 15,700-square-foot building with multiple tenants was not part of the purchase.

About 70 percent of RC Plaza’s tenants have been there since at least 2012, and Starbucks signed a 10-year lease extension in 2015, according to the statement.
