Riverside wants to know what its residents think

People who live and work in Riverside are being asked their opinion of the city and its quality of life.

The Riverside Survey, which is being conducted this month, asks residents their opinion on living and working there, according to a statement.

The survey is part of Riverside’s Seizing Our Destiny program, which is an ongoing dialogue between city officials and residents, educators, and members of the city’s business community about how to improve the city.

Two years ago, the survey found that most residents believe Riverside is a good place to live, that it’s affordable, reasonably healthy and provides a fair amount of arts and cultural opportunities.

The 2013 survey also found that most residents felt positively about education in their community.

Phone polling has been completed, but residents can still sound off at RiversideSurvey.com through Oct. 31. Survey results will be released in January, according the statement.
