Tune in to The Main Event this Saturday Morning at 9:30 on AM590

Tune in to The Main Event this Saturday morning at 9:30 on AM590 with host Ed Hoffman as he discusses national current events and politics, with a few mortgage tips along the way. Ed delivers intelligent, entertaining radio that makes hard news easy to understand!

This week, Ed welcomes to the show Rachel Gunther, the Donald Trump for President campaign’s Los Angeles County regional chair. When Ed asks her about the lead Hillary has over Trump in national polls, Rachel is quick to point out that the most recent Los Angeles Times poll showed him two points ahead of Hillary Clinton. “That’s remarkable,” she says. “As you know, they aren’t the most conservative publication.” Rachel urges any Trump supporters listening to get involved. “You can visit Californians for Trump on Facebook,” she says. “We would love to have you.” She also encourages people to join the Election Integrity Project. “There is a tremendous amount of voter fraud that goes on in California,” she says. “Unless we learn how to look out for these things, they’re never going to get caught. We’re never going to know how many of our votes were stolen.” She recommends visiting ElectionIntegrityProject.com.

RNC delegate Felix Veiga is also in the studio with Ed this week, and he has something to say to people who call Trump a racist because of his illegal immigration policies. “Latinos have been sold a bad bag of goods by the Democrats,” Felix says. “The Trump campaign is listening to the needs of the people; immigration isn’t the only issue Latinos care about. We care about jobs and education, and Trump is hitting those issues head on. We’re making a concerted effort to get that message out to the Latino community.” The first half of this week’s show is fun, enlightening and digs deep into presidential politics with people who are in the trenches of the Republican nominee’s campaign.

In the second half, we’re talking about the Clinton Foundation pay-to-play scandal. Every week, there’s another batch of incriminating emails; this week, the FBI collected 15,000 more that have yet to be released. In the meantime, Judicial Watch released 20 emails they obtained – and of course, the messages contain more evidence of the pay-to-play scheme that afforded wealthy foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation access to the State Department.

One revelation involved the Crown Prince of Bahrain, who donated $32 million to the Clinton Foundation to meet with the Secretary of State; in fact, the AP reported this week, more than half the people who privately met with Hillary while she was Secretary were big-money donors. “If Bush had done this, they would have hung him from the Capitol building,” Ed says. “Hillary and Bill Clinton are using our government as a private enterprise for themselves.” As the show winds down, you’ll hear:

  • Ed and Scott’s hilarious banter imitating longtime Clinton advisor James Carville
  • Insight from Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer
  • This week’s intriguing comments from Wikileaks founder Julian Assange

You don’t want to miss this week’s jam-packed show!
