Video promotes Ontario as tourist locale

The Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau has released a video that showcases greater Ontario as a destination location.

The 2:16 video, which can be viewed at GOvideo, has no dialogue but instead uses flashing images to highlight the region’s tourist destinations, including Ontario Mills, local Indian gaming casinos and the Temecula wine country.

Also, the video stresses Ontario’s closeness to Los Angeles, Disneyland Resort, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and Las Vegas, as well as the estimated 6,000 hotel rooms in Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga.

“I think our videographer captured our story well,” said Lorraine Chapman, the bureau’s director of strategic alliances, in a statement. “The greater Ontario area boasts a busy metropolitan area that is both historic and cosmopolitan in character. It’s big city sophistication with small town hospitality.”

The bureau promotes leisure and business travel to Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, according to the statement.
