Walgreens property in SB sold

A 1.4-acre property in San Bernardino that is occupied by a Walgreens has been sold.

The parcel, at 1634 E. Highland Ave., sold for $2.9 million to a private investor from Newport Beach whose name was not disclosed, according to a statement.

The seller was a private investor who also wished to remain anonymous. SRS Real Estate Partners in Dallas represented both parties in the transaction.

Built in 2002, the Walgreens store occupies nearly 14,000 square feet at East Highland and Del Rosa North. The parcel includes a drive-thru and 74 parking spaces. Nearby retailers include Target, Harbor Freight Tools, Stater Bros. and Chase Bank.

SRS Real Estate Partners bills itself as the largest real estate company in North America dedicated exclusively to retail services. Its National Net Lease Group completed more than 300 sales in 25 states last year, and has more than $1 billion in assets for sale, according to the statement.
