Two Inland Empire universities have been included on TIME’s America’s Best Colleges of 2026-’27.
The University of Redlands ranked 176 and Cal State San Bernardino ranked 280 on the list of top 500 public and private colleges and universities in the United States, according to a list published Aug. 26.
No other institution of higher learning in the Inland region made the list.
Each school was graded based on student success, value of education, campus resources and student demand, i.e. the level of interest students have for programs, courses, and their school’s resources.
Student outcomes, which evaluate graduate earnings, graduation rates and return on education, account for 75 percent of a ranking.
This is the first year TIME published list, which it developed with Statista, a website that specializes in data gathering and visualization, according to the statement.
