Restaurant chain to open another IE store

Luna Grill, the Mediterranean food restaurant chain, will open a location next month in Redlands.

The restaurant, scheduled to open in May, will be at 502 N. Eureka St. in the Redlands Packing House District, according to a statement released Wednesday.

It will be the San Diego-based chain’s 44th restaurant and fifth in the Inland Empire. Its most recent local opening was in early March in Rancho Cucamonga.

The Redlands restaurant will cover approximately 2,360 square feet and will include a patio for outdoor gatherings.  An employee count was not released.

Luna Grill has locations in California and Texas. It was recently awarded the Gold Medallion Award for Best Casual Dining Chain by the San Diego Chapter of the California Restaurant Association, according to the statement.

The Redlands Packing House District is a neighborhood shopping center that is being developed at Stuart Avenue and Eureka Street. It will be anchored by a Sprouts Farmers Market and a PetSmart.
