Stater Bros. Markets has named Michael Reed its senior director of real estate.
Reed has more than 13 years’ experience in retail real estate and has held leadership positions with other retailers, according to a statement.
Most recently, Reed helped develop stores for Starbucks, particularly helping that chain grow in the midwest and western United States.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, where he served as Illinois State Retail Chairman from 2011 to 2013, according to the statement.
