Registration is underway for the Building Industry Association of Southern California’s 2020 Housing Policy Conference.
The virtual session, scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 19, “will bring housing experts together to craft a blueprint for solving the most significant housing challenges,” facing Southern California, according to a statement.
San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman will deliver the opening remarks.
The keynote panel discussion will be a general overview of the Southern California housing market and where it is headed.
Other panels will discuss the Inland Empire, Orange, Los Angeles, and Ventura counties and energy efficiency.
Panelists will include Joel Singer, chief executive officer of California Association of Realtors; Mike Posey, Huntington Beach council member; Scott Webb, Victorville planner and Katie Sloan of Southern California Edison.
Sponsorships, which range from $500 to $2,500, are still available.
