Moreno Valley has received what it called a “generous” donation of personal protective equipment from several corporations, and now the city is saying thank-you.
PPE’s were received from Ford Motor Company, Proctor & Gamble, Amazon, and Deckers Outdoor Corporation, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“We are deeply grateful for these companies’ show of support for our community,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez said in the statement. “Every one of these important items will be put to good use saving lives.”
Moreno Valley residents can get free masks at the Employment Resource Center (ERC), located at 12625 Frederick St., or at any City library branch as part of the City’s “We’ve Got You Covered” initiative.
The city has already distributed 187,000 masks donated by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, government agencies, local businesses, and other organizations, according to the statement.
