Butler named top a employee by Omnitrans

Craig Butler has been named employee of the quarter by Omnitrans, San Bernardino County’s largest public transit agency.

A 12-year Omnitrans employee, Butler was recognized for exceptional work overseeing the
Stops and Stations section of the transit agency’s maintenance department, according to a statement on the agency’s website.

During a recent labor shortage, Craig moved from building maintenance mechanic to overseeing Stops and Stations in order to help keep things running smoothly. He is also credited with helping to complete the installation service change information, which passengers use to plan their routes.

Craig also formed and organized a crew that finished installing a shelter in Highland, according to the statement.
