A Newport Beach homebuilder will build a tract of high-end homes in the Mockingbird Canyon section of Riverside.
Trumark Homes has purchased 72 finished lots for approximately $10 million in Mockingbird Canyon, which is near California Citrus State Historic Park, said Tom Doyle, principle partner with WD Land in Irvine.
The lots average 1.7 acres, with the houses to range from 4,106 to 4,888 square feet. Prices will start at around $1 million.
Construction is expected to start shortly, with the first pre-sales anticipated for next spring, Doyle said.
WD Land negotiated the sale between Trumark Home and the seller, the Lissoy Family Trust in Santa Ana.
“There’s some retail in the area, and KB Homes has a similar project going in nearby.” Doyle said. “That establishes [Mockingbird Canyon] as a solid housing market.”
We don’t need anymore dam houses in Riverside county or th entire I.E. We already have to many people here already. Stop building houses. Build something useful.
