Sanchez joins ONT

Marissa Sanchez has been named Ontario International Airport’s chief capital development officer.

Sanchez will oversee planning, design and construction at the airport, according to a statement on the airport’s website.

Most recently, Sanchez spent 11 years working for the city of Dallas, where she was assistant director of infrastructure and development in the Department of Aviation. There she was in charge of a $450 million budget and helped develop air, land and terminal projects.

“We welcome Marissa to our team of airport professionals,” said Atif Elkadi, chief executive officer of the Ontario International Airport Authority, in the statement. “Her experience in managing major aviation projects make her an ideal fit to help Ontario International meet the needs of the region we serve.”
