Rental homes coming to Corona

Construction has begun on 38 single-family homes in Corona that will be available for rent.

The project, which is being developed on 4.7 acres at Citron Street and Taylor Avenue, is being built by Tricon Residential Inc, and Foremost Pacific Group Inc. in Mission Viejo, according to a statement.

Tricon Residential Inc. is a subsidiary of Blackstone Real Estate.

The houses will be one- or two-story with three- or four-bedroom layouts. All will have two-car garages and fenced-in backyards.

Monthly rents will start in the low $3,000’s. The project is expected to be finished in January 2026.

“There’s a significant need for more housing across California, but supply constraints remain a key hurdle,” said Andrew Carmody, Tricon Residential’s senior managing director, in the statement. “Tricon is proud to build and develop more homes that allow families to live in communities with high-quality schools, accessible employment, and local amenities, all at prices well-below the cost of ownership,”
