Goodwill Southern California has opened an outlet store in Riverside.
The store at 1049 Spruce St. will be the non-profit’s first outlet store, and fourth location, in Riverside, according to a statement.
Goodwill Outlet Stores, often called bins, sell items by the pound. New merchandise arrives during the day.
“We are excited to open our warehouse clearance center in Riverside,” said Patrick McClenahan, Goodwill Southern California’s president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “Goodwill stores help fund our mission to transform lives through the power of work, helping people who experience barriers to employment find jobs.”
Goodwill Southern California operates more than 100 locations – retail and outlet stores, boutiques and donation centers – in Riverside and San Bernardino counties and parts of Los Angeles County.
Ninety-five cents of every dollar generated by sales at a Goodwill store goes toward helping people with a disability find work, according to the statement.
