Joe Lin, senior vice president with Colliers International Ontario, has been named president-elect of this year’s AIR Commercial Real Estate Association.

Lin, an industrial specialist who has been a commercial real estate broker since 1994, will be in charge of the association’s long-term planning, according to a statement.

He will serve under Joe Faulkner, senior vice president with Cresa Los Angeles, who was recently named association president. AIR, the largest of its kind, was founded in 1960 to promote knowledge, integrity and efficiency in the industrial and commercial real estate industries.

AIR has 1,600 members representing 400 firms, according to the statement.
