Moreno Valley has launched a webpage intended to help city residents cope with El Nino.
The site, movalley.org/elnino, is meant to help with the severe weather condition that could cause severe flooding and other damage to Moreno Valley and surrounding communities, according to a city statement.
The webpage is aimed at residents and businesses. It will include information on inspections, flood insurance, flood protections and recovery options in case of serious damage.
The site will also tell people where to obtain sandbags and how to send out rapid notifications in an emergency, among other crisis-related tips.
