Yucaipa Christian School has hired a teacher to instruct its fifth and sixth grade students.
Ethan Sullivan, who previously taught junior high school and high school students in Hawaii, will teach Bible studies, mathematics, English, history and health education, according to a statement.
“My long-term goal is to help students get excited about academics and prepare them with the fundamental skills knowledge they will need as they continue their education into their college years,” Sullivan said in the statement.
Yucaipa Christian teaches students in the Banning Pass, Calimesa and Yucaipa areas. It’s accredited by The Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
