Aldi, the Germany-based global discount supermarket chain that made its debut in California earlier this year, will open a store in Menifee next month.
The store, at 30163 Haun Road, is scheduled to open Aug. 17 with a ribbon-cutting, media and VIP preview and an official grand opening ceremony, according to a statement released this week.
It will be the company’s 11th store in the Inland Empire and its 27th store in Southern California. The first 100 shoppers at the grand opening will receive a “golden ticket” gift card of various amounts, according to the statement.
Aldi operates more than 1,500 U.S. stores in 34 states, attracting more than 32 million customers each month, according to the statement.
