Murrieta will soon have a much-needed assisted-living and memory-care facility.
Renaissance Village Murrieta, a 225-bed community that will include a 2,500-square-foot rehabilitation center, is expected to open its first phase this fall, said Aaron Rintamaki, assistant planner with the city of Murrieta.
Developer Continental East Development in Murrieta has not given the city an exact opening date, Rintamaki said.
Renaissance Village Murrieta is being built at 24271 Jackson Ave. directly across from The Colony, a retirement community with 1,500 homes and a golf course. Beside the rehabilitation center, the project will include a movie theater and a full-service spa and salon, among other amenities.
“We only have one facility like this in the city right now,” Rintamaki said. “This is something we need very much.”
The project’s second phase is expected to open next summer, with the third phase scheduled to open in the summer of 2018, according to Continental East’s website.
Continental East developed Renaissance Village Rancho Belago, which opened in Moreno Valley last year, and it’s close to completing Renaissance Village Indio, according to the website.
