Redlands-based ESRI, a worldwide leader in spatial analytics, will host the 20th annual Esri Federal GIS Conference Monday and Tuesday at the Walter E. Washington Center in Washington, D.C.
Company President Jack Dangermond will host a series of talks by government officials regarding how public agencies are using spatial analytics, which uses mapping and geographic data to help set policy and make decisions, according to a statement.
About 4,000 people are expected to attend the event.
Esri software is used by more than 350,000 organizations worldwide, including cites, national governments and about 75 percent of all Fortune 500 companies, according to the statement.
