City to open fire station

Menifee is scheduled to open a fire station next month.

Station 7, the first station built and owned by the city, will open Jan. 10 at Cherry Hills Boulevard and Bradley Road, according to a statement.

A ceremony, which will be open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

City officials, along with representatives from Riverside County and CalFire, will make a presentation. Parking will be available along Bradley Road.
