Airport to provide extra holiday parking

Palm Springs International Airport is again offering extra parking during the holiday season, in anticipation of increased traffic.

Starting Friday, an ancillary parking lot will be available on Kirk Douglas Way, which runs west of the airport, according to a statement on the city’s website.

Cost is $15 per day, with the fee to be paid upon entering. The parking lot, which is on property owned by the airport, is scheduled to open daily at 8:30 a.m.

During operating hours, a complimentary shuttle will be provide to the main terminal. A return shuttle will be provide for as long as necessary.
