San Bernardino City Councilman Damon Alexander has been named to the Southern California Association of Governments’ energy and environment committee.
Alexander will represent San Bernardino and the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“San Bernardino is working hard to have a greater voice in regional and state policy decisions,” Alexander said in the statement. “Few policy areas are as critical to the well-being of the Inland Empire as energy and the environment.”
Better known as SCAG, the association is a group of governments and public agencies that addresses regional issues. Its energy and environment committee’s agenda includes air and water quality, solid and hazardous waste, habitat preservation and environmental justice, according to the statement.
It’s a bit ironic that he would represent SBCity in SCAG when he can’t even return multiple calls or emails from his ward for local issues, I made him aware of ongoing unfair issues and he was non-responsive, waste of time and money get some one else. I will be going to media with this.
