Apple Valley to host a yearly flea market

Apple Valley is scheduled to hold its annual Rockin’ Flea Market Saturday at Lion’s Park.

The event, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature trinkets, furniture, handmade goods, and other new and used items, according to a statement on the town’s website.
Ken and Don, a local classic rock duo, will take the stage at 9 a.m. More than 50 vendors and a food truck have also signed up to be there.

“This event is a great place to find amazing deals on items some folks might overlook,” said Recreation Coordinator Liz Fratt in the statement. “You can find everything here from milk crates and music instruments to thrifty clothing and jewelry. Be sure to bring cash as it’s a first-come-first-serve basis on all items.”

Limited vendor space is available. Interested parties should call Fratt at (760) 240-7880.

Lion’s Park is at 20789 Highway 18.
