Stater Bros. Charities will hold its annual Believe Walk Oct. 6 in downtown Redlands.
The 5K walk, which is co-sponsored by Inland Women Fighting Cancer, will begin at 8th Street and end at the intersection of State and Orange streets, according to a statement.
Registration and pre-walk festivities are scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 7:45 a.m. and the walk at 8 a.m.
Pre-event festivities will include the Survivor and Thriver Celebration at Ed Hales Park, which will honor cancer survivors while offering support and resources to those currently battling the disease.
Dogs are welcome to participate, and the route will be filled with live music and other entertainment while groups cheer on the walkers.
After completing the walk, participants will enter the “Believe Bash” with more than 60 vendors and music from a live band. Cancer survivors can take part in a survivor photo, a dove release, and ring the survivor bell.
Free parking will be available at the CVS Parking Lot, 101 Redlands Mall, and the public parking garage at 250 W. Stuart Ave.
