The 16th annual Believe Walk is scheduled to be held Oct. 1 in downtown Riverside.
Sponsored by Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Battling Cancer, the event raises money for multiple cancer-fighting entities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Since it started in 2008, the Believe Walk has raised $8.4 million.
This year’s s 5K will start at 8th and State Streets and end at the Redlands Bowl. Pre-walk festivities and registration are scheduled to start at 6 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 7:45 a.m. and the walk, which will be held rain or shine, at 8 a.m.
Entertainment, including live music, will line the parade route, and dogs are welcome.
Free parking is available at the CVS parking lot, 101 Redlands Mall, and the public parking garage at 250 W Stuart Ave.
