John Binkley has been named associate vice provost and dean of the College of Extended and Global Education at Cal State San Bernardino.
A longtime educator and administrator, Binkley will also hold a tenured academic appointment in the Department of Theatre Arts, according to a statement on the university’s website.
“We are excited that John Binkley has joined the Cal State San Bernardino family,” said A. Rafik Mohamed, provost and vice president for academic affairs, in the statement. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and over 10 years’ experience in higher education leadership in the California State University system.”
Before coming to Cal State San Bernardino, Binkley was senior international officer and dean of the College of Extended Education and International Programs at California State Monterey Bay, according to the statement.
