Frank Castellon has been named Metrolink’s chief safety, security and compliance officer.
Castellon has spent more than 17 years working in transit and safety systems, including senior safety specialist with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and director of safety and security with the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District (TriMet) in Portland, according to a statement on Metrolink’s website.
Most recently, Castellon was vice president of environmental, health, safety and quality for Peak Utility Service Group in Broomfield., Colo.
“The safety of our service is fundamental, and it’s with great regard that we welcome Frank to our leadership team,” Metrolink Chief Executive Officer Darren Kettle said in the statement. “As the backbone of the region’s transportation system across six counties, we look forward to the vision and perspectives Frank will bring to this critical position at Metrolink.”
