Corky’s Homestyle Kitchen & Bakery opened a restaurant in Yucaipa Wednesday.
The restaurant, at 31476 Ave. E, is the chain’s ninth restaurant, according to the company’s website.
Seven of its locations – Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Eastvale, Fontana, Rialto and Pomona – are in the Inland Empire, and it also operates a restaurant in Ladera Ranch in south Orange County, according to the company’s website.
The Yucaipa location, at Interstate 10 and Yucaipa Boulevard, has drawn solid crowds during its first two days in operation.
“People have been lined up outside the front door since 9 a.m. Wednesday,” manager Brandy McBride said Thursday.
Corky’s, which was founded by Mike and Jennifer Towles, serves traditional American food, baked goods and desserts, all in large portions. The company plans to open a store in Perris, according to the website.
