Corona has received a Bronze Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Council.
The city was recognized for its business retention and expansion programs, according to a statement.
The award, which recognizes programs that have been in place for at least three years, was presented Sept. 27 at the development council’s annual conference, which was held in Cleveland.
Based in Washington, D.C., the council identifies what it believes to be the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships as well as the most influential leaders in that field, according to the statement.
