The School of Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino will host a three-day event next month that will show high school students what it’s like to operate a business.
The UpStarters Discovery Camp is scheduled to be held June 20-22 on the Cal State San Bernardino campus, according to a May 16 statement.
Students will receive 20 hours of instruction on owning and operating a business and advice on getting the most out of college from a highly-ranked academic program. They will also stay in the university’s newest dormitories, giving them a further preview of college life.
“This is a rare opportunity for students to get a taste of the college experience on campus,” said Stacey Allis, assistant director of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship, in the statement. “They will learn real-life skills in innovation and entrepreneurship to apply to any professional position.”
Registration is $299 per person. For more information visit https://entre.csusb.edu/content/udc. To Register visit https://iece.ticketleap.com/2023udc/.
Both the School of Entrepreneurship and The Center For Entrepreneurship are affiliated with the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino.
