David A. Brager has officially taken over at CVB Financial Corp.
Brager, a 17-year employee of the Ontario-based financial institution, became chief executive officer on March 16, one day after Christopher D. Myers stepped down as president and chief executive officer, according to a statement.
Most recently, Brager was CVB Financial’s executive vice president, sales division manager. He has more than 30 years experience in banking, and was chosen in February to succeed Myers by CVB’s board of directors.
CVB is the parent company of Citizens Business Bank. It is one of the 10 largest bank holding companies based in California, with more than $11 billion in total assets, according to the statement.
