Tami Douglas-Schatz has been appointed Riverside County’s human resources director.
Schatz, who spent 15 years as San Luis Obispo County’s human resources director, is coming home: before working in the central coast, Douglas-Schatz worked in Riverside County’s human resource department, according to a statement on the county’s website.
“Tami’s experience in human resources, including in our own county, along with her proven leadership skills, positions her as an invaluable asset to our team,” sad Chuck Washington, board chair, in the statement. “Her commitment to the growth of our workforce aligns with our mission to foster a positive work environment.”
Douglas-Schatz will oversee 350 employees. She replaces Mike Bowers, who left Riverside County to become San Bernardino County’s human resources director.
