Enterprise Funding to host annual meeting

Enterprise Funding Corp., the Redlands non-profit that arranges government loans to small businesses throughout the Inland Empire, will hold its annual meeting Wednesday.

The event, scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Mitten Building, 345 N. 5th St. in Redlands, is expected to draw 50 to 75 people, said Jeff Sceranka, president of the company.

Sceranka will speak on several matters, including recent changes to federal laws regarding financial eligibility a person can have to qualify for a U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan, which are Enterprise Funding’s specialty.

Those changes are scheduled to become official March 11.

Sceranka will also discuss several projects for which Enterprise Funding recently arranged funding, including a winery in Temecula and a hotel/spa in Desert Hot Springs.

Cruz Esparza IV Redlands’ economic development manager, is also scheduled to speak.

Enterprise Funding has helped finance nearly $820 million worth of projects in the Inland Empire and Antelope Valley since the company was founded in 1983, according to the company’s website.
