A restaurant chain that specializes in homestyle, old-fashioned meals will expand its presence in the Inland Empire.
Black Bear Diner, which operates a restaurant in Chino, will open six more locations in the Inland region during the next six years, according to a statement.
Company officials made the announcement at the annual Restaurant Leadership Conference, a four-day event being held in Phoenix.
Openings dates and locations were not announced. Black Bear also plans to open more restaurants – three in Missouri, one in Texas and a minimum of two in Oklahoma – within the next several years.
Founded in 1995 in Mt. Shasta, Black Bear Diner operates 109 locations in 10 western states. Seven of those locations are in Southern California, including its Chino restaurant at 12325 Mountain Ave.
The chain, reportedly one of the faster-growing in its market sector, opened 21 restaurants last year, according to the statement.
