Ted Frumkin has been named senior vice president of store development for Heritage Grocers Group in Ontario, the parent company of Cardenas Markets.
Frumkin will report to Prabash Coswatte, Heritage Grocers’ chief administrative officer, and will be in charge of the company’s real estate development and its growth, according to a statement.
“Ted is an exceptional real estate executive with experience in new store development, project management, procurement and financial analysis,” Coswatte said in the statement. “Ted will play a critical role in driving growth across all Heritage Grocers Group banners.”
Ontario-based Cardenas Markets is one of the largest Hispanic supermarket chains the United States, with 57 stores throughout California, Nevada and Arizona, according to the statement.
