Michael Krouse, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been named a member of Connect Association’s inaugural “15 Over 50.”
The honor recognizes long-time event professionals who have contributed to that sector in different ways, according to a statement.
Connect Association is a national magazine that covers the meetings and events industry.
Nominations were reviewed by Connect staff, who paid particular attention to references and industry involvement.
Krouse came Ontario in 2013 after running the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board for nine years, where he generated net gain of $5.8 billion, according to the statement.
