Dignity Health and Anthem Blue Cross have reached an agreement to continue providing care to Anthem members at six Dignity Health hospitals in Southern California, including two in the Inland Empire.
The agreement applies to all Anthem members enrolled in employer-based, individual, MediCal, and Medicare health plans, according to a statement.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
“We look forward to continuing our ongoing partnership with Dignity Health in California,” said John Pickett, vice president of healthcare network at Anthem Blue Cross. “This agreement provides stability and certainty for our members and customers throughout the state, and it allows us to deepen our long-term relationship and collaborative efforts with Dignity Health.”
A nonprofit Dignity Health is a multi-state network of 10,000 physicians, more than 60,000 employees, 39 acute care hospitals, and 400-plus care-centers. Its Inland hospitals are Community Hospital of San Bernardino and St. Bernardine Medical Center, also in San Bernardino.
